Non Profit

This is a nonprofit group supported mostly by private donations.

People of all religions, ethnic groups, and cultures are always more than welcome!

Orchestral and band instrument donations are much appreciated and accepted for members who don’t own their own instruments.

A bit of History

In September of 1997, Kent Stratton, with the support of Mullins United Methodist Church and Amro Music, founded the Mullins Wind Ensemble.

Throughout the years this group has grown from a small number of church members, playing woodwind and brasswind instruments, into a significant community orchestra which includes strings and percussion.

The Mullins Community Orchestra is a community outreach program that is designed to accommodate band students as well as amateur musicians and comeback players.

Come Join Us!

The orchestra meets at Mullins United Methodist Church, 4 North Mendenhall, every Thursday evening at 6:30PM and practices for about an hour.

If you or someone you know is interested, feel free to show up for practice or call Kent Stratton at 901-351-3208 with any questions.
